Mayor Victoria Woodard officially declared the week of April 10-16 to be Cambodian Genocide Remembrance Week in Tacoma. This proclamation mourns and honors the more than 2 million lives lost by the Khmer Rouge. CACCWA had the honor of accepting the proclamation on April 12 at the Tacoma Municipal Building.
